I live on the Solway Plain in the north of Cumbria in the UK. This allows easy access to the Lakeland Fells and the Scottish Border region. I’ve left the world of full time work behind and I’m revelling in being able to do all those things that were pushed to one side by lack of time. It’s so good to live close to accessible mountains and to be fit enough to get to the tops. Being creative is an important part of my life. At the moment painting is pushing photography into second place but I’m sure that I’ll swing backwards and forwards between the two over time. I always say that if I like what I create then that is enough for me. If others appreciate it then that’s a bonus, so let me know what you think. Art needs a reaction of some sort. The worst fate for any art is to be ignored.
