Birdie lives in the Canadian boreal forest surrounded by nature and wildlife. Long cold winters are conducive to the production of art. The birds, deer, and other wildlife neighbors provide inspiration and companionship. She believes art comes from the soul and being an artist is not an option or career choice, but a part of her DNA.

terrific work Roberta, i love this style of illustration, it reminds me of printmaking and it’s extremely effective….made moreso, by the length of the horse, which I think was a great idea, excellent!

  • Thank you Karin. I am so pleased with the positive response I’ve had. I am primarily a photographer and this was a big leap for me to put this work, which I quietly do on the side, up here for the public to see.
