Close Gate Bridge is a Grade II* listed structure and a scheduled ancient monument. Built in the 17th/18thC it is a single span stone arched packhorse bridge over Haigh Clough. The bridge is one the main packhorse route from the Colne Valley over Close Moss to Rochdale.
