Oh David … exquisite composition … lines everywhere al all leading me right into this glorious image … and THEN … we get to talk about light … and focus … and detail … and exposure … AHHHHHHH!!!! Here … grab a beer … let’s put our feet up and just chat about this beauty all day!!!!!!!

Ah…I really like this for perspective on the vastness of the area. Beautiful and rather daunting.
Thanks Margot … it was damned chilly as well!! I tend not to wear gloves (actually…I’m not sure that I own any!!) but I wished I had done when I was taking these pics. It’s a fabulous place … and it really lends itself to wide angle shots. I’m trying to get to the top of as many of these as I can before my knees pack in!!
Maybe you could find some serviceable gloves and take them off to use the camera when you arrive… [sometimes I can be practical]
lol … that sounds like a plan Margot!! I might give it a go .. but I seem to have an inbuilt aversion to being too prepared … not just for walking, but life in general!!
