Artist's Description

A Manhattan to Manhattan…

This watercolor was done for my wife, a United Airlines Flight Attendant, to respectfully commemorate September 11, 2001. It is meant as a loving toast to the fallen. The prospective is from an interior window table at the famous “Windows on The World” restaurant, a top the twin towers.

This was painted on 140lb Arches cold press paper, G/B W/C Paints, Kolinsky sable W /C brushes. Largely wet on wet technique.

An artists signed print of this work was donated to the International Association Of Emergency Managers recent 2011 covention in Las Vegas for their charity auction. The signed print of the original painting was bid on and went for $500.

This painting is registered with the Library of Congress.
