When placing your Kettle
onto the hot back burner,
It bubbles, foams, and froths.
If you forget it for too long,
Neglecting, turning your back,
Leaving it boiling up and over,
Steaming into wispy thin air,
All you’re left with, in the End,
Is an Empty Pot.
Nourishment-
This a poem using an extended metaphor that pertains to the “nourishment” of the self to overcome angst, grief, and loneliness, in hopes to attain peace and happiness in life.

To put the world right in order, we must first put the nation in order; to put the nation in order, we must first put our family in order; to put our family in order, we must first cultivate our personal life; we must first set our hearts right….Confucius(Great Quotes from Great Leaders)

Yes! I have studied this… Confucius had many interesting philosophies pertaining to life. This is a basic principle that has many complexities involved. Peace of mind, affecting the state of well being towards friends and families, affecting the whole community and State, which leads to the Empire/Nation, and the entire world. You seem to be quite idealistic and hopefully thoughtful. Glad to hear your point of views… Take care, Peace-

I would like to think i am thoughtful!...or at least thought-filled…either way, i have great thought when i see your work!...I like how you speak broading and generally..applying to all, as in mankind. It gives a sense of being good for the soul!...
