Dancing Female Nude (Acrylics)-
I first loosely and freely “splattered” gesso onto a primed board, to add an expressive texture underneath the work. Then I laid in my simplified drawing of the figure of the woman. Then I used india ink to outline the form, and painted it in with acrylics. The dimensions of this piece are 28in. X 13in. It was produced in 2005.

This piece reminds me of a Peter Saul Litho I printed years ago, A nude descending a staircase, of which I have the printers proof And the C.T.P. I should sell the ctp but was advised to hold onto it. Man times are tuff during holiday ! Rd Your faces are your focal point for me.

Thanks for the thoughts, lightleake. I have more contrast and brushstrokes (with smaller brushes) in my faces, but I enjoy some of the balancing and open shapes equally, for without the supporting space and elements the face would be Alone, and therefore not as powerful. Good comments, thanks a bunch, Peace-
