Wonderful moment in time. Oakum boys are charming. I broke my ankle three weeks before sailing for South Georgia so was limited in the amount of walking I could do—-no Shackleton death march for me. Instead, I sat at Gold Harbor for hours with oakum boys keeping me company. Surely South Georgia is one of the most magical places on earth. Thank you for bringing back cherished memories.
