We used to have a whole family here in the garden, but thanks to nearby clearing, they seem to have gone now. We could watch them regularly and listen to their funny calls in the night.

these are such funny looking, beautiful birds…..at our local raptor park , they camouflage themselves on dead tree trunks and logs, at times you can look and simply not see them…...it is as if they become part of the wood. nature is so clever…...
