Well here is another type of work.It is called a graphite wash.I did this one with a pen brush but you can be for given in thinking it was a pencil piece but it was painted not drawn.The cub on top is called Scratch and my lucky daughter got to hold him.Let me know if you want to know any more about how I painted this picture.

    I’ d like to know much more about how you painted this picture, I think it’s the first time I see a graphite wash work!

    Hi Francesca this technique is not very hard in fact all you need is an aqua graphite pencil .Most manufacturer make them and there is little to pick between them.I use Derwents for this work.A 2b & a 8b.I also use them along with a water pen brush when out sketching.Pentel make the water pen brushes again there are others.The reason the graphite is painted is because they have left out the wax that standard pencils have in them.I hope that this helps as this is the most fun way to draw and sketch.Regards Rob.
