This image from march 11th 2011 shows the easy access to Aurora in the arctic Norway. Just a short drive from the city of Tromsoe, Norway, it was just to pop the head out of the car window to see this beatiful scenery. I’m standing on Kvaløya (whale) island, and to the right is Ringvassøya island. The descending moon is just above the horizon lighten up the landscape. To the left in a small cottage is placed. I suspect they have some great scenes all year aroumd.
The moon is covered in clouds.
In this picture, I’m standing besides my car.
This Aurora streches all across the sky, so it is massive! The decending moon cast some light over the sea.
