May 1. 2011 was great in the Vesteralen islands, Norway. This picture was taken at 01 am. Lots of light even in the middle of night. This is the perfect example of the wild nature of the arctic Norway. Snowy mountains raise straight up from the sea. Some peaks reach up to 1250 meters, 4000 ft. The flat top is the mountain called Møysalen of 1264 meter. This is Hinnøya islands highest mountain. Canon EOS 7D, with canon EF 27-70 f/2,8. Kenko polarizing filter. 2,5 secs exposure @ f/5,6. ISO 250
