I have a passion for decaying architecture. I love the aging process which creates a beauty all of its own. The paradox of a derelict cinema called the Futurist in the centre of a busy city where new buildings are springing up all around. Why do we let the most wonderful buildings fall into ruin whilst spending fortunes to build new structures? I hope you appreciate this.

The Futurist sign here has now been covered up by a white board with a painted red sign. At least it still says “Futurist” even if it does look terrible.

Wonderful shot! And I have to agree wholeheartedly with the sentiment!
Brilliant, love this shot. It’s almost ironic with the name of the place.
