At age fifteen I’ve realized my artistic ability. Art is my passion and my second love. When I was younger I remember giving pictures to so many people. I also remember looking at My Aunt Marg, My Aunt Kari, My Uncle Shane, and My Grandpa Jimmy and asking, “How did you do that ?” They would show me and I’d be amazed. They are the few people that got me into drawing when I was younger. As I got older my dad was expanding his ability and I was even more amazed. At age 12 I was in grade six and had no Idea what I wanted to take for option in grade 7. I decided on art. Our first big assignment was to draw out hand. Ever since then I’ve worked my butt off to make hands look half decent but fail. Yet I always learn from my mistakes. My art teacher for two years, Mrs. E. Hemstock helped me understand a lot about different sketching and drawing types. She also opened my mind to the Human Face. Really I thank her very much.

The Human face has fascinated me for a long time now. I feel that you get a lot of emotion from a person. I’ve never been big on still life. Yet I do appreciate it for what it is. I’ve learned many different roots to the face and different ways of portraying it. I love to draw eyes. Eyes, as people say “are the window to the soul.” And I love to draw that window. So as you look at my work you will notice It’s mainly people. I have a few sketches of still life and I’ll get them up soon. Hopefully you enjoy.

P.S I apologize. I’ve been really busy. The new pieces will be up soon. They Include, Inward Eye, Anders Erickson and James Dean.
