I enjoy the history of pottery lesson very much. I was a potter for several years of my life.
A very tactile physical medium to work in. These are coveted pieces.
Beautiful composition too.

Your very welcome Rhonda, can I ask, do you have some Welsh Blood in you? if so what part of Wales do your ancesters hale from?
RLHall replied
My Grandfather was born in the Rhondda Valley, his mum was from Morgan and Sambrook lines and his father’s ancestors moved to Wales from England four generations before. They came to the United States when he was in grade school. I’ve been researching my genealogy for a while so have quite a lot of info and hope to one day visit Wales! :-)

I live in the Afan Valley which is the bottom end of the Rhonnda Valley by the sea, it’s claim to fame is Richard Burton (Richard Jenkins was his real name, Dick the milk to the locals) was born here, you may have heard of him. He used to be the milkman here in Ponyrhydyffen. I also have researched my roots and most, well all really of my family are English, my brothers and sisters there are 11 of us were the first lot all to be born in Wales. I had one uncle who emigrated to the us a Joseph Bulluck but we have had no luck at all tracing him, just seemed to disappear off the face of the earth. I have got back to 1736 with my family and also my wifes family and thats as far as |I want to go relay as it takes over your life all that research. I wish you well in your search thought and can tell you that if you ever do come to wales you will have the warmest of welcome everywhere you go.
