Gathered in place, they stand tall
vastness reaches the bitter edge, dry dust
remnants of the past lie in bone
singular intent, together with purpose
a continuation of pulse and life moves beyond
the edge grows and moves, it is continuous
The breath ignores the bitterness
and glistens the dry with life
a beginning of newness stretches
transforms the vastness into a marvel
the eye, and all other senses dance …
For Today we glimpse, a Beautiful Tomorrow

Thoughts on an intriguing photo by my dear friend from the other side of the world, Elizabeth Kendall.
A moment captured of seeing the vastness, stretch, yawn and awake …reaching for that new day.
