PECO WAS AN 15 YEAR OLD AMERICAN SADDLEBRED. HE WAS A STALLION FOR 10 YEARS. MY WIFE AND I RESCUED HIM. WHEN WE GOT HIM HE WAS AFRAID OF EVERYTHING. PEOPLE WOULD NOT GO NEAR HIM. HE TOOK TO ME THE FIRST DAY. HE AND I DID A LOT OF WORK TOGETHER. WE TAUGHT EACH OTHER MANY THINGS. A GREAT TRUST FORMED BETWEEN US. I LOST HIM TO COLIC. I MAY NEVER GET OVER THIS LOSS.

Oh God bless you. I had a quarter horse that had colic but he lived a long life. Peco was a beauty.

Thank you DiEtte! This is the look I constantly got with those ears glued on me as I walked towards his paddock. This image of him is well imbedded in my head, a look I will never forget!.

Again Thanks so much!!! This guy was so abused when he choose me that there was something there. When he started to trust me you could see that look in his eyes. At the same time other people were afraid of the most gentle but smart horse!
