A pair of Sandhill Cranes in dance. One of the most interesting things I’ve seen.

    What a glorious scene, Dick!

  • Hi Mel, and thanks. It was such a treat to watch these two dance. I think it is unusual for autumn, but I have seen a few videos on youtube by searching on sandhill crane dance, which give a good idea of the movement and sound.

Love the three horizontal layers to this image, Dick, (make any sense?:)
    A beauty!
    Sandra

  • It does make sense, and helps to give the feel of depth in a flat image.
    Thank you Sandra.
