Fremont culture rock art panel in Northern Utah near Vernal. “It inhabited sites in what is now Utah and parts of Nevada, Idaho and Colorado from AD 700 to 1300. It was adjacent to, roughly contemporaneous with, but distinctly different from the Anasazi culture.” from Wikipedia . Please note that current usage prefers the term Puebloan Culture to Anasazi.
This is a most amazing panel. Check out the face of the main figure, the detailed lines, the negative space removal to show the one figure, and use of red, for what appears to be a shield and weapon. It may also have Paleo-Astronomical markers for solstice or equinox timing.
