I am a realist oil painter with a studio in the Mississippi River town of Clinton, Iowa. My work is on medium and large canvases and I use the old masters method of painting a transparent under painting then laying down layer of opaque and transparent paint. I love to paint buildings in landscapes and landscapes with wildlife and other structures in them. I except commisions and can be found at danbudde.com also.
