talk about a stairway to heaven… nothing more tranquil than a walk in the wood in the crisp autumn air… the crunch of the leaves underfoot, the musty-musky deep-earth scents freed by treading footsteps… the few lingering songbirds trills, echoing through the wood…... thank you for sharing your peace, my friend ;-}

This is gorgeous! I would love to be on that trail. The angle leads you right up the path. I walk in the woods almost every day, but never see’n anything this beautiful!

Wonderful capture. Makes you wonder what lies ahead. Where is this located? It looks so similar to the stone steps built at Fort Mountain in Georgia. It is said that the unkonwn builders of the stone wall in Georgia also built in other states similar.
