I have been fascinated with all aspects of wildlife for as long as I can remember. My first film camera was an Agfa Silette, when I was 15 years old. Photography has been my main hobby in my spare time since then. I used a second-hand Minolta SRT101 film camera with an assortment of lenses from 24mm wide to 600mm telephoto for nearly 25 years. Bought my first digital compact camera in 2001 (A Fuji 1.3 megapixels – it was ‘state of the art’ then ;-). After several excellent bridge cameras also by Fuji, I started DSLR photography in 2005. My favourite lenses are the old manual ones from the 1960s onwards, used on my Canon DSLR with an adapter. As prime lenses they are very sharp indeed.
There are so many wonderful artists and photographers on this site, I know I will learn many more tips and techniques, and I am so grateful for folk being so welcoming on Red Bubble.
Wishing sunshine, both inner and outer, and much happiness to everyone.
