Wow, I have to say that Xmassy was just about the furthest thing from my mind when I spotted this… Doubt you’re old enough to remember Forbidden Planet, but this is like the Monster from the id meets Alien… on acid!

In fact, your title is kind of deceiving cause for me it’s more Sci-Fi horror than mystifying, and that he (or she?) is ripping him (or her)- self apart to expose cosmic guts is amazing. What ever you did to get this effect, you’ve put it to awesome use here, and I love the way you’ve kept the exterior dark and foreboding letting only the highlights compete with the glowing interior chaos.

Your talent is vast and varied as you also take amazing photos. But you do stuff with fractals and whatever else you use that is totally unique and apart from other stuff I’ve seen in the same vein. This is going straight into my favs, and I’ll be checking back more often from now on to see what I’m not gonna miss!

    Stunning work lady!

Gorgeous colours! Looks a bit like fractal bagpipes to me; I’m sure I see some tartan in there somewhere.
