I would like to say a big thank you to Brian Beckett for taking a random idea I mailed across & with it instigating this meet ( & being so modest about it too!), & to everyone else who made the journey to Ludlow & make it such a great day.
I was really excited to be invited to join the team in hosting Castle Magic & hope to get to know many more of the group as time progresses.
I am assisting Brian in co-ordinating the group competitions & would like to encourage everyone to bmail me with ideas of competitions you would find challenging.
As a group, we have perhaps less opportunities to specialise than other wider subject groups…..after all there are only so many castles to visit within a day’s drive, & time is for everyone a precious commodity these days. As a result, this group has a unique opportunity to introduce other members to the lesser known castles & places that have a special meaning for us…....so I would like to invite you to start thinking about how you would “market” your favourite castle if you were encouraging others to visit.

well done cat, brilliant idea, for all out there who enjoy a challenge, support cat, I know this is not always for everyone but im sure theres some who must by bursting at the seams on this one and remember whatever the hosts try to do regarding comps, meets , featured work or whatever there is no personal gain to us apart from hopefullly generating views and possible sales for members, the more your name is seen the more likely there is of sales for you
