Bedruthan Steps - Cornwall
The name comes from the huge outcrops of slate scattered across the beach, which legend says were placed there by the giant Bedruthan, to be used as stepping stones accross the water.
At high tide they are marroned in the sea like stranded rocky walnut whips.
