This has got me looking forward to this year’s snow.

  • I experienced snow last year in a tremendous way. Sometimes the scenery was so eerie and freezing i felt i was in a Russian movie. I don’t know though if i will be up for it this year.

It can make for fantastic photos, but the pain in your fingers and toes after a while isn’t so nice…. (And a lot of your shots look like movie stills to me.)

  • Yes, and the pain in the thighs when you have to walk long distances and the snow is high. The annoying part is when it starts to melt, the whole melting & mud season, very dreary, the very short days & rare daylight. Thanks for the movie stills, this made me really blush cause quite pleased, ha! ( i am an annoying film-buff, a cinema fanatic)

A well composed and calm capture of the snow and the effect it can have on the careful observer, great work

  • Oh thank you George for your very encouraging words and support .
