Yes, they sure do Mark. And I fiddle a lot in the end, especially the eyes in all the ones I’ve done – they’re the expressive bit, getting that spark of light! Thanks :-)

I painted at 2048×1536, Mariana – photo size. I could paint bigger but that’s what I’m using at the moment so it fits a card and the print. I’m still getting the hang of sizing but I could go a lot bigger I’m sure. But it’s just a bit of fun so I’m sticking with smaller paintings for now… Glad you like it – thank you xxxxx

Lol digital painting can come a little easier – it’s just easier to pick colours. In real life I have a bit of a colour block and all those tubes (and yes, I have lots!) look at me and say, ok what now lol… Here I can pick colours and make choices according to the original. But it takes time. But quite addictive.
