I was lucky enough to capture this shot on the Salt Marsh Trail in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
It’s a long beautiful trail that wraps through wooded areas and pops out along coastal gems.
The title? My Niece is 5 and used to call them “flutterbys.”

I’m an amateur photographer and I have been taking photographs for as long as I can remember. I used to pretend my viewfinder was a camera when I was 3.
So, there ya go…
I was fortunate enough to grow up on an island that inspired me to do what I do. It’s beauty has and always will be my inspiration for as long as there is salt water in my blood.
