to this effect i had to be brutally honest about where my hair line is at.

    Very honest portrait, there is so much in the eyes – even though we can’t really see them. Great work :)

  • thanks evie! i can’t remember where i heard it, but in the old days it was considered bad form to paint an artist’s eyes. not sure why, but i kind of liked the idea
