When oceans of tears fell from closed eyes
T’was the simmering upturn of gifted smile
That touched this man behind his disguise
Thoughts of lonliness blowing on yesterday
Suddenly seemed pointless on your arrival
Stagnancy of abandonment began to sway
As whispers of close redeemed my survival
I have not forgotten the tenderness of touch
From eyes of embodiment that sparkled so
Forcing the solace of a heart to lift so much
Inducing new feelings of passion with flow
Two decades or more of bonding and love
Has been the driving force behind my lite
Seems a perfection showered from above
For I have loved you of wholesome might
Never a dull moment from past to present
Enticing a connection that always remains
Forever nurturing a response not reticent
For you always stir the very blood in my veins…..
