She was only here for 24 hours, but the biggest cruise liner in the world attracted tens of thousands of people to marvel in her sheer size and beauty. As a departing gift, Sydney put on a spectacular fireworks display as both the Queen Mary 2 and Queen Elizabeth 2 cruiseliners visited us for the first time in over 60 years.
QE2 arrived in Sydney Harbour only hours prior to QM2 departing.

Wow…:D What a spectacular photo. Im down in Melbourne and On Monday morning A friend and I got up at 4am to be down at Station pier to watch the QE2 dock! I loved every minute of it. If I had known the Queen Mary was going to be arriving in Sydney at the same time as The QE2 I’d have flown up to see it.

I absolutely adore this photo, Greatness!
