1964 MacDougal Street sidewalk artist
New York City, USA
I was an 18 year old college student, using a Praktica FX3 camera with a Zeiss Tessar 50mm F:2.8 lens, TRI-X film.

artist, candid, portrait, sidewalk

My interest in photography grew out of my scientific curiosity regarding optics and chemistry, but soon took on a life of its own as I started to really SEE the world. in a new way. Research scientist, biomedical and aerospace engineer, science teacher, photographer, mechanic and vending machine repairman …I have been on a life-long “Journey on the Road-to-Find-Out”. I am drawn to “landscape” or scenic photography and also the delicate art of capturing decisive fleeting moments.
