I was an 18 year old college student, using a Praktica FX3 camera with a Zeiss Tessar 50mm F:2.8 lens, TRI-X film.

I am almost legally blind, and yet I am a primarily visual person. Living with visual limitations and being a scientific minded kid guided my interest in vision, optics, telescope making, and photography. It seems I entered art through the side door of science and curiosity.
