I was a freelance photographer years ago, then I became an artisan working with paper, wood, then clay. Now in my vintage years on this earth, I am working in all media including photography, again … although this time I am working in digital … no more working in the darkroom up to my elbows in chemicals.
Liz and I live in a small home in the woods several hours drive north of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.. We have almost an acre of cleared land and have over the years created a large garden. I’m inspired by the colour and form of the flowers in our perennial borders especially as their beauty fades. The area we live in is rugged but sceneic shots are hard to come by without the interference of telephone poles and hydro lines so my concentration has been on detail rather than vista.
