    Love this shot Richard,
Great contrast and has a nice cool feeling about it.

  • Thanks, mate. This actually has a “story” to it — it was the first “official”, i.e., serious effort, with a new little “pocket” camera that was my intro to digital, the Panasonic Lumix DMC LX2, with this great little Leica lens, and very cool 16:9 aspect ratio wide-screen format, etc. Terrifically handy and user-friendly, this was just the kind of situation I wanted to have a “pocket camera” for: a great scene snaps into view at 70mph on the highway, swoop into the breakdown lane, back up, hope the State Police don’t come by, look, frame, click, instant feedback on the LCD … very cool!
The image quality often rivals the Nikon D300 that I got at the end of that year, as I completed my commitment to this new digital world, so I’ve been really pleased with the whole experience …
    Thanks for your attention. Cheers!

    Welcome to a Winter Wonderland!!

  • Thanks, Coachsgirl — That’s exactly what I exclaimed as I veered into the breakdown lane at about 70mph to stop and back up for this! Cheers!
