that is so gorgeous! how is the light on the red roof so bright and the shadow so distinct? is it a full moon? but wouldn’t that wash out some of the stars? beautiful beautiful.

The was close to being a full moon, it was a clear winters night and there was no other light around except the moon. the shot was taken about 60 km south of Alice Springs.

From memory, i used 1600iso, 90 seconds exposure, wide open iris, f4, i think. There was a half moon.

I guess I’m not the first to say wow!! So very Australian. Love it.
