Well, with puta’s, its far less messy, no critical drying times, less room needed, far fewer materials, easy rectification and no waste, but apart from that, no …..... :))
A great amount of satisfaction can be obtained from both ( provided things go your way ) Unfortunately, I have spent many a hour completing a traditional painting, only to throw it screwed up into the bin !!

If I have to choose a traditional medium that I’m comfortable with, it has to be Acrylic, mainly because its quick drying and covers well ( to get rid of any mistakes ) ......... I’m glad that you like it Anne …... :))

I completed this 19 years ago Colin, I went through the same dilemma that you are experiencing now …. eventually, I made a comprimise … for my landscapes, I’d have a watercolour sky and complete the rest in acrylic …...... cheers mate .. !!

I still do the occasional pencil sketch though, with the thoughts of scanning it into Photoshop or Painter …. which is exactly what I did with the design on your son’s tee …... but you never know, there’s great inspiration to be found here on the bubb, I might be tempted to dabble again !!
