Thanks Mel, it was a bit dreary on the day I must admit, as castles go, this is quite small, but perfectly formed and considering its 700 years old, its in fantastic shape. Definitely got a feel for the place and couldnt resist working it in PS …....... :))

Yes Judi, this is the 700 year old version ….. there’s a certain ’ feel ’ to this place amonst the old stone and Oak construction that transports you back to Medieval times …...............

It’s a little unreal exploring this place, 700 years is a long time, it’s hard to imagine what went on inside and what the people were like, but after reading the info boards and listening to the audio sets, the imagination kicks in and you get a ~ feel ~ for the place …..
