A small English village, Hanley Swan in Worcestershire. It boasts a duckpond with a nesting platform. I was camping near there last summer and took a walk to this village. To my pleasant surprise I found this Heron, he was looking rather pleased with himself and in no mood to take flight ….........

    Yeh, I couldnt believe it when he just sat there … I thought that he’d become a tenant, but next day it was gone …..... oh and it was partial use of foto2pix PhotoArtMaster and a good dose of Photoshop ….. thank you susi …. :))

    I was sad to see that Fotopix went out of business, but I hear that Topaz has a beta version of the simplifier out, heard about it? I think this is one of the best effects out there..but of course there is no magic without the right picture and this is sooo right! :)

    Cheers Michael, the Heron must have been daydreaming or something, I walked all the way around the pond and he didnt move an inch …... usually as soon as they spot you they’re off !!!!!

    Oh Lois, I’m sorry you cant experience the fulfilment of using PAM, I’ve checked out the ’ simplifier ’ that susi mentioned, but it fades into grey, no comparison artisticly …..
    You sound a really bubbly and likeable person …....
    Thanks for your enthusiasm for my work, its very encouraging to say the least …...
    you could always get Windows …..... but if not, I will be thinking of you gazing …......... :))
