Wonderful capture Ritcie- love the effect on the trees- almost like watercolour x
richiedean replied
Thank you Anita, almost like underwater ….. :))
EvaMcDermott
Has a lot of appeal Richie! The trees look like they are waiting for something to happen!
richiedean replied
I guess they cant run for it …. so it must be brace yourself mode, thanks Eva :))

Linda Callaghan
Wow fabulous shot – great scenery
Stuart Chapman
Good to get back to nature Richie! The water almost looks like it bounces off the wall as it cascades quickly and smoothly through the countryside. Love the streaks of what appear to be spider webs streaked throughout the top.
richiedean replied
Cheers Stuart, it’s a bridge with two streams that converge and pass under it ….. :))
Jason Connolly
Lovely piece Richie, well done.
Rhana Griffin
The only thing that could make this better is to see Stuart doing his funny little dance over that bridge ;)
richiedean replied
Well I did put him on there, but this was the moment after he’d fell in and passed under it …...... :))
Rhana Griffin
oh! and I love those little zephyr winds roaming through the base of the trees…
Jen Whyte
This is just a stunning piece of work … like a painting!

glorious, another one of your works that I just want to step into….& I can never hear of bedgelert without thinking of the poor faithful hound of the story.
richiedean replied
Dont worry Cat …. to put your mind at rest, it was a story told by local traders many years ago to lure the visitors away from Snowdon and to thier village ….... crafty eh !! :))
goanna
G’day, bewdy mate, you’ve built a bridge and I see that little lamb’s gone home safe!

Mel Brackstone
such a delight to find it in angry mode
you wanna speak to my husband? hehe….he’s never happy with angry mode
Beautiful shot, Richie, love the way you’ve captured the light here!
richiedean replied
you cant beat a flush of anger every now and then …....
Tip of the day :- Overlay layer – fill 50% grey – lens flare filter – adjust opacity …... captured light applied :))
cheers Mel :))
Mel Brackstone
Oooo…..thanks Richie!
richiedean replied
pleasure Mel, got a big sleeve, full of tricks ….. :))
Mel Brackstone
Thanks for bringing that one out!! Just home now, so will give it a try :)
Mel Brackstone
Have you tried turning the layer into a smart object and thus turning that lens flare filter into an adjustable smart filter?
richiedean replied
I have tried it Mel but it didnt present any advantage to me …....
Mel Brackstone
I’m still learning how to get the lensflare exactly where I want it :)
richiedean replied
its a bit fiddly in dragging it about in that small box I know…. I usually slide the brightness up to at least 150% and decrease the opacity on the layer to suit ….. keep playing, it’ll all come right in the end :))
Mel Brackstone
ahhhh…..thanks, I’ll give it a go :)
