Lovely dramatic picture…love the rays of light shining through….is this Dartmoor or Bodmin Moor as Dartmoor’s in Devon – I look out over it from where I live..I think it’s the prettier of the two moors :o)

Your’e right. I was on hols in Fowey, Cornwall and the nearest moor is Bodmin. I stand corrected. Thank you for your knowledge and compliments.

amazing, how do you do that?

How long have you got ? Ok, I start with a selection of images, to put into my compilation, then I merge them using Photoshop and utilise adjustment layers, blending modes and any other tool I fancy. Then I open it up in Photoartmaster classic and using layer after layer, I alter it until I’m happy with it. I then return to Photoshop to do any final adjustments. With some of my images, I’ll also use PainterX along with the other two. Does that help ?

What a beautiful image…it is really engaging!!....so layers are the key?!....I have only just started having a go with the concept…and now I have more inspiration to do so!

Well I’m glad Care, I’m sure you’ll soon get the hang of it. There is so much control to be had from layers, with their masks, adjustments, opacity and all the filters, that can be applied individually and of course, styles. It’s a lot to learn, but really enjoyable, I found that it was anyway. Thank you very much, for your comment and I wish you all the luck, cheers.

Hi, imageworld, as I said to snurfdood, at the top of this list, I was on hols in Cornwall, its a few years back now, and the closest moor is Bodmin and Dartmoor is in Devon. So after some deliberation, I renamed this image, Tor on Bodmin moor, where as, I originally called it Dartmoor Tor. I’ll have to go back and find out ! Anyway, thanks for stopping by.

Love this, I spend a lot of time in Cornwall in fact I am going next week for a week. I know Bodmin Moor well. This has inspired me to get up there and take some shots, hope the weather improves.
