Unstable ... stable
I cant resist rundown, tumbledown, old buildings, they are oozing with history and character … this one, a stables, is one of the many outbuildings that belong to the farmhouse Idyllic isolation
Another that I have slightly breathed on in Photoshop CS3

This looks like a painting for a fairytale. On of those moments where the main character gets lost in the woods then stumbles upon a mysterious shelter… Love the lighting which brings a magical appeal here.

I’m so with you on your description! This is a beautiful old building that does ooze character all the more so because of the effects that you’ve used! Awesome
Carolyn Staut, 3 months ago
Another example of your wonderful artistry. I know what you mean about old tumble down buildings, I have the same passion. There is a hidden character within that we attempt to bring out. In your case, you have done it with superb artistry.

I can’t get enough of them either…I’ve spent endless hours searching and photographing old structures…(before they completely dissappear), fantastic shot richie and of course love your breath of CS3!!
By the way I have CS3 but I’m a deer in the headlights right now…do you recommend a good tutorial website (that you don’t have to pay for), I think you mentioned a place in the past…can’t remember!

The treatment gives this so much extra warmth & texture. Nice work
richiedean in reply to Rosalie Dale IPA’s comment, 3 months ago
Thanks Rosalie … :))
muppet is a Brit thing ….. an affectionate term for the local idiot … but meant in the nicest possible way of course …..

I sorta guessed it may be something like that Richie – Jim Henson’s crew does spring to mind!

Well spotted, great capture.

I subscribe to Photoshop mags and buy loads of books ….. all have CD’s or DVD’s with tutorials on them and I have bought DVD’s from Gnomonworkshop ….. all of which dont come cheap, but they’re one hell of an information package. The websites that I have found, usually deal with the basics of Photoshop for free, but you have to pay for any advanced knowledge. It may have changed by now though Kellie, you’ll have to google it !
Oh and thanks :))

Ahhhh, It’s a wonderful job you did on it because you have to really look at it. It came out looking like it started out that way. =0) —I hope you realize that’s ultimate praise, not denegration, of your work.)
