Eerie 7th month opera

This image is created specially for the Eerie Lighting group which has featured my Evil Eyes three times already, including twice in succession recently.

I had not submitted to the group lately because I don’t really have many eerie images. So I did a little experiment with my 7th month Opera.

It was simple. Just darken the image dramatically, adjusting the levels slider in Photoshop to about 35 percent and lo… the opera actress looks definitely evil!

A bit of color balancing after that, to reduce the intensity of the image, completes the job.

So this is also for the Experimental group which, again, I had not been submitting much lately.

On further thought…. After uploading, I decided to turn the image to black and white. Now it is even more evil and eerie!

Great result… not so evil as desparate.

    :D Thanks again.

Do you mean desperate (in urgent need / despair) or disparate (distinct / different)?

despair;-) Wasn’t sure about the spelling, but was too lazy to check… It looks like an agonized scream, on the verge of crying.
