All things change except for Change itself because Change is eternally unchanging.
Change is constant, immortal, one of two modern day deIties society must give way to, sitting happily on its throne next to Time.
Time is equally as threatening as Change, but carries the advantage none other can possess.
Made of nothing material or spiritual, Time cannot be influenced by man.
There are those who can play with the occurrence of Change yet Time cannot be tamed. Change is godly by nature, and can be manipulated by man; Time is the slavedriver, and we are its slaves.
We worship this concept, this immaterial flow, with more devotion than our religions themselves.
No number of crucifixes amount to the number of clocks that adorn the faces of walls and wrists of people, silent reminders of the ever-constant force governing our every action.
Time brings all people from every nation under one allegiance, a giant cult following who worships their idol, a face with two hands.
Time waits for no one, turning the young into old, and the old into dust.
Time provokes Change, as Change will come in Time.
Leading a successful life does not depend on your money, but how well you deal with these two unstoppable forces.
Should you create the unknown device to cripple Time, then you yourself will become the god.

It really is quite the curious subject… my teacher mentioned it in a split second one day in casual conversation and went on with whatever he was talking about, but it had stuck in my mind since then… a lot of things we dont even realise…
