I took a little journey out east this summer, drove out to Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island to visit family. On the way home, I took a stop at Hopewell Rocks in New Brunswick, and I’m glad I did. The site is famous for the most rapid and drastic tidal changes. It takes six horus to go from low tide to high, and another six from high to low. Once the tide has gone out, you can actually walk on the ocean floor and explore the coastline and rock faces. It’s truely something to be experienced first hand.
