This photo was taken in Nîmes, France on a latenight stroll with a few friends. One of the things I loved the most about France the most was, as cliche as it’ll sound, the culture.
Where here, the night consists of young people going out purely for the sake of getting drunk out of their minds, all the alleyways, sidestreets, and squares or France seemed to be consumed by good food, good live music, and the comradery of people looking to be more than just buzzed by the night’s end.
I never noticed it before, but enjoying the presence of everyone else around us seems to be something we’re lacking here in my part of North America. Living in this on demand, fast paces world, we’re in desperate need of a nice time out and sit down with simply each other.
