Soo, for those of you who don’t have her on your list, a wonderful artist I’ve been watching named Janis Zroback has recently been doing a tutorial on an ancient style of painting known as Chinese Brush Painting, which I have been following along with now. Just today I but my brushes and ink and such, and had at it. And, mostly for her sake of requesting seeing some results for those participating, I decided to post below some of the thing’s I’ve managed to do so far. They’re not great, but i figure its a good start! Let me know what you think, if you want, and feel free to check out the tutorial thus far on her homepage first in the journals, then continued in her writing. Thanks fo the great tips and information so far, Janis. Keep up the great work!!

Chris these are beautiful….I am so pleased that you are experimenting with this wonderful genre…...I was waiting to see how people got on before writing the next chapter, but I will wait no longer than tomorrow morning….plus I have the added incentive to see what next you are going to produce…..great work….

Thanks Janis =) I’d always loved this style, and when I saw there was someone – you – willing to put it out there how to do it, and how financially conveniant it is ;) I just had to have a shot at it!! So thank YOU!
