_{Photographs are stopped time. All that they can portray is appearances. You see the moment, you see the instant when that photograph was taken. . . . Photographs are frozen light. There is always either much less in them than meets the eye or much more. . . . They’re mysterious. They purport to be very flat and visible, and they have no depth on the page; they’re just a flat surface. But if you look into them rather than at them you can go underneath the surface of the photograph.}

_{Hello, and welcome to my page. I hope that you discover something here that speaks to you in a way you’ve never been spoken to. I do not claim to be the best, nor do I think there is even a point where we stop learning and growing.}

_{My passion is photography. I wasn’t born in a dark room, nor did I have a camera in my hands when I was two, but the only thing more comfortable in my palms than a camera are the hands of another. I won’t tell you what camera I have to try and impress you, mostly because it’s not a notably impressive camera. But camera’s are just tools, and like a Gibson without a good guitarist, a good camera is nothing without the eyes, heart, and hands of the person behind it.}

_{I’m eighteen years old, although my portraits will tell another tale. I work for minimum wage at a local food franchise, and am always willing to try my hand at new things. Comission work is nice, as are purchases, so please don’t hesitate if you’re inclined to offer either.
