I feel that nowadays there’s a constant struggle with the materialistic values of society whereby the simpler, usually more fulfilling aspects of the world are forsaken, or rather forgotten. Albeit, I try to immerse myself in the more beautiful and organic aspects of life; more often than not, I am lured by nature. To me, nature has many an anthropomorphic feature, the foremost being the emotion it carries and usually embellishes. Photography can hold a moment still; as such it can hold with it emotion for years to come. A raw memory becomes tangible. This warms my heart more than a montage of evanescent possessions.
