I love the composition. I’ve tried in the past (I am a Lake District lass) to take photos from the fells so I know how hard it is to get a photo as good as this. But have you enhanced the colour? The damp and muted fell tops never looked quite this blue and ‘shiny’ when I was up there! I think their character needs the muted colours to show how they really are.

It’s difficult when so many of the Australian photos on RedBubble capture viewers because of the bright sunshine and vibrant colours. It can be hard for us Brits with our subtle lighting to compete on what is effectively a web shop front. But I prefer the Lake District – the beauty of the fells cannot be beaten. Thanks for this photo, it reminds me of home.
