Great capture is this a HDR image. I remember when I visited the subway in New York noticing the decay to anything above eye line.

Hi Ian, I shot it in RAW on a Canon 40D and then beefed up the contrast, sharpness and colour saturation slightly before converting the image into a large JPEG file.

Cool I love the amount of detail you have capture on the roof structure. I have not got into the wonderful world of RAW files yet having only got a DSLR before christmas.

you won’t look back. RAW is the business – the file captures so much more information about the image allowing you to do so much more in post production – even if it is just fine tweeking.
